Bellydancer Lorenda will perform with fire, sword and LED wings in the Garden of Light and during the effigy burn at the Freeform Arts Festival. Featuring eclectic art installations, workshops, theme camps, all-night dancing to live and DJ’ed music, fire performers, yoga classes, a roller rink, and more, the Freeform Festival is coming June 2-6 to Honesdale, Pa. The next installment of “Drink ‘N’ Draw” at the Boneyard Bar and Grill will feature the bellydancer Lorenda from 10 p.m. to midnight Thursday, Jan. 28. Lorenda will hold different poses for set lengths of time while the audience draws, paints or photographs her. The event is free and some art supplies will be provided. All skill levels are welcome.
Lorenda will also entertain the crowd before and after the Drink ‘N’ Draw by belly dancing with fire and LED wings.
Bellydancer Lorenda had a great time performing with her LED wings at the new Venus Restaurant in Atlantic City. A private event was held to raise money for the Atlantic City Historical Society. Mayor Don Guardian and other local dignitaries were present. Venus has great Middle Eastern food, hookah, DJ nights, and it’s BYO.
Lorenda will bellydance with LED wings and fire in the Poet-tree En Motion event “New Moon Fire Festivities” 7-10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11 at The Rotunda, located at 4014 Walnut Street in West Philadelphia. She will perform in The Garden of Light, an LED installation and performance space.
Poet-tree En Motion is a free seasonal community art series that celebrates artists of the Philadelphia region. This event will host live and electronic music, performance art, spoken word, video projections, fire performance, an open mic and more.
