Fire Performance and Bellydance to Return to Burning Woman

Bellydancer and fire performer Lorenda gave an electrifying performance, and she is already welcomed back for the next Burning Woman festival in 2017! Fire Performers and Bellydancers to Perform with the Burning Hearts at Allentown Brew Works

The Burning Hearts Fire and Light Theater will perform 8:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, May 13 at the Allentown Brew Works. The show will feature fire performers displaying their skills with a medley of props, including poi, staff, hoops, fans and more. Belly dancers Lorenda and Laura will also do a routine with fire swords. This show is choreographed to the music of David Bowie. Come join the troupe outside on the patio! The Brew Works is located at 812 Hamilton Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Fire Bellydance by Lorenda to be Featured at PEX Heartburn

The annual Philadelphia Experiment (PEX) Heartburn event is coming to the 23rd Street Armory in Philadelphia 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Feb. 13, 2016. The event doubles as a Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year celebration. PEX continues its tradition of showcasing some of the best fire performers in the Philadelphia region. Among them, NJ belly dancer Lorenda will entertain with her breed of bellydance mixed with fire. Party-goers can also experience fabulous performance art, live and DJ’ed music, aerials, and art installations. Fire and Arts Fest to Showcase Philly Fire and Flow Performers

The Lux Arati Fall Fire and Arts Fest is coming to Philadelphia Sunday, Nov. 15. The event will feature many of the best fire and flow artists in the Philly region. The event will be from 2-6 p.m. and located at Liberty Lands Park, 926 N. American St. in Northern Liberties.
Lux Arati, Philly’s all-female fire arts troupe, will be performing its latest performance piece, “Alchemy,” that was featured at the PEX Summer Festival 2015 as a part of the Russian Roulette Variety Show. In addition, the group has invited some of its favorite local performers to put on a never-before-seen collection of some of the most diverse and talented performance artists in the City of Brotherly Love and beyond. Just some of the lineup includes bellydance by Lorenda, the amazing fire artist Helios, members of the Burning Hearts Fire and Light Theater, and performance artist Plum Dragoness.
This unique showcase will be immediately after the Fall Art Market, a chance to browse handcrafted items and more from local artists and business vendors.

Bellydance with LED Lights to be Featured in Philly art event Poet-tree En Motion

Lorenda will bellydance with LED wings and fire in the Poet-tree En Motion event “New Moon Fire Festivities” 7-10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11 at The Rotunda, located at 4014 Walnut Street in West Philadelphia. She will perform in The Garden of Light, an LED installation and performance space.
Poet-tree En Motion is a free seasonal community art series that celebrates artists of the Philadelphia region. This event will host live and electronic music, performance art, spoken word, video projections, fire performance, an open mic and more.
